Terms & Conditions

Prudential - HK$50 WeChat Pay HK E-Cash Voucher Flash Offer (“Promotion”) is organised by Prudential Hong Kong Limited (“Prudential”). The promotion period starts from 12 April 2023 to 11 May 2023 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
WeChat Pay HK is a mobile-based stored value facility managed and operated by WeChat Pay Hong Kong Limited ("WPHK”).
During the Promotion Period, WeChat Pay HK users will be eligible to this Promotion after he/she has successfully registered and provided the required information (including but not limited to their full names and Hong Kong mobile numbers which must be the same as the mobile number used for registering his/her WeChat Pay HK account) in designated registration form via the website provided and operated by Prudential that is entered through designated advertising banners located in their WeChat Pay HK account (“Eligible Customer”).
All information cannot be changed or cancelled once being submitted. If any information provided during such registration (including but not limited to the full name and mobile number) is/are repeated, untrue, incorrect, incomplete or invalid (to be determined by Prudential), the relevant Eligible Customers will be disqualified for this Promotion.
Upon successfully fulfilling the requirements of the terms and conditions under this Promotion, Eligible Customers will receive two HK$25 WeChat Pay HK E-Cash vouchers valued at HK$50 in total (“E-Cash Vouchers”). The E-Cash Vouchers will be credited to the WeChat Pay HK account of the Eligible Customers in 9 working days after registration. The WeChat App of the Eligible Customers must be updated to the latest version for the receipt of the E-Cash Vouchers. Eligible Customers may check the details of the E-Cash Vouchers in their WeChat Pay HK accounts (i.e. “WeChat” – “Me” – “Services”- “Offers” – “My Rewards” – “Coupon”). Prudential and WPHK shall bear no liability if Eligible Customers cannot successfully receive the E-Cash Vouchers and/or the E-Cash Vouchers are lost due to any circumstances. For the purposes of this Promotion, "Working Day" means the day on which banks in Hong Kong are open for general banking business (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
Each Eligible Customer can register once and is entitled to a maximum of two E-Cash Vouchers only during Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, in the following circumstances, the relevant WeChat Pay HK accounts will be deemed to be used by the same Eligible Customer:
1. logging in of multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts on the same mobile phone or mobile device; or
2. logging in of the same WeChat Pay HK account with multiple mobile phones or mobile devices; or
3. the bank account number or credit card number being bound with multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts.
In the case of any of the above, Prudential and WeChat Pay HK reserve the right to suspend or terminate the release of E-Cash Vouchers to the relevant WeChat Pay HK account as it deems fit.
E-Cash voucher can only be used upon completion of single spending of HK$25.01 or above via WeChat Pay HK at any designated merchant in Hong Kong accepting WeChat Pay HK. Eligible Customers are not required to present the E-Cash Voucher when applying the offer. As long as all the requirements specified herein are satisfied, the E-Cash Voucher will be applied automatically upon transaction conducted with WeChat Pay HK and the E-Cash Voucher will be shown as used after successful payment. Only one E-Cash Voucher will be deducted automatically per transaction. If there is more than one e-cash voucher stored in the Eligible Customer’s WeChat Pay HK account, under applicable circumstances, the e-cash voucher with the highest value will be applied first. For e-cash vouchers that are of the same value, the E-Cash voucher with the earliest expiry date will be applied first.
Registration quota is capped at 20,000 under this Promotion and will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis based throughout the Promotion Period while the stock lasts, without prior notice. The number of quota available as recorded in the system of Prudential shall prevail under any circumstances.
Eligible Customers must attain the age of 18 at the time of receiving and using the E-Cash Vouchers, and should remain as valid users of WeChat Pay HK (subject to WeChat Pay HK’s sole decision) during the Promotion Period. Otherwise, the relevant Eligible Customers will be disqualified for receiving and using the E-Cash Voucher without further notice.
Each E-Cash voucher will be valid for 30 days upon issuance. Any E-Cash Voucher that has not been used after the expiry date will automatically become invalid and will not be reissued. E-Cash Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, any other E-Cash vouchers, offers or gifts, nor can it be used to top-up any stored-value facilities, and it is not applicable for any form of payment including tax payment, FPS transfer, Person-to- Person (P2P) payment transfer, local or international remittance, telecom payment, utilities payment and red packet, and will not be reissued in the event of loss, invalidity or expiry for any reason.
For refund or return of goods after the payment is completed, only actual payment amount will be refunded, the relevant discounted amount paid by each E-Cash Voucher will not be refunded and the relevant E-Cash Vouchers will not be re-issued after being used. Prudential is not liable for any submission delay, loss of information, error in transmitting information, unrecognizable or damaged information in that may be caused by any computer, internet network, telephone and technical problems or any other causes beyond the control of Prudential.
12. By participating in the Promotion, the Eligible Customers are confirmed to have read, understood and agreed to the provision and use of their personal data by Prudential for direct marketing purposes in accordance with Section 3 of the Personal Information Collection Statement. By submitting the registration form, the Eligible Customers confirm their understanding of and agreement to (i) Privacy Notice of Prudential https://www.prudential.com.hk/en/china-personal-information-protection-law/ ; (ii) Personal Information Collection Statement of Prudential https://www.prudential.com.hk/en/personal-information-collection-statement/; and (iii) all the Terms & Conditions of this Promotion and agrees that WPHK may use his/her personal data previously obtained by WPHK for the purpose of E-Cash Voucher fulfilment under this Promotion in accordance with WPHK’s Privacy Policy available at https://hkwallet.moneydata.hk/hkwalletv3/agreement/agreement_privacy_policy.html.
The redemption of the E-Cash Vouchers is subject to the terms and conditions imposed thereon by WPHK.
If there is any breach of these terms and conditions or illegal, fraudulent or abusive behavior to obtain/and use of any E-Cash Voucher, or if any Eligible Customer commits any act affecting other customer’s ability to participate in this Promotion fairly, Prudential reserves the right to immediately cancel such Eligible Customer’s eligibility for this Promotion and the entitlement (if so obtained) to the E-Cash Voucher forthwith and without notice.
Prudential reserves the rights to vary, extend or terminate the Promotion and to amend any of the terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. In case of any disputes (including but not limited to the cancellation of the E-Cash Voucher), the decision of Prudential shall be final and binding.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. Each Eligible Customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
