If customer used other payment methods or payment was made by third party, an official receipt will be issued once your payment is verified. Customer can view and download the receipt on PRUServices (Macau).

Important notes

Third party payment is not allowed unless the payer is a designated group of third parties (i.e. spouse / parent / child / sibling / grandparent / grandchild / parents-in-law / legal guardian), designated by the Proposer / Policyowner / Life Assured, and the payment is submitted together with a "Third Party Payment Declaration Form" duly signed by the payer and the Proposer / Policyowner / Life Assured.

If you paid for a foreign currency policy in HKD by non-cheque payment, the transaction amount will be settled at the applicable exchange rate on the transaction date and converted into the equivalent amount of policy currency (except autopay and cheque/cashier’s order/bank draft payment). If the premium is paid through autopay from an HKD account, the transaction amount will be collected in HKD equivalent which is calculated based on the exchange rate on 3 business days (including Saturday) prior to the direct debit date. If you made payment by HKD cheque/cashier’s order/bank draft, the transaction amount will be settled at the applicable exchange rate on the day of receipt by Prudential and converted into the equivalent amount of policy currency. If you wish to make payment in MOP, the transaction amount will be converted into equivalent amount of HKD based on the exchange rate on the transaction date for settlement; If the policy currency is not HKD, then the HKD amount will be further converted to policy currency for settlement. Please visit Premium Exchange Rates for our prevailing exchange rate in different currencies.

Your payments in HKD for foreign currency policies may be subject to change in view of exchange rate market fluctuation, and you should be aware of the exchange rate risks. You may need to pay any shortfall in the premium to maintain your coverage without being affected if there is any discrepancy in premium due to exchange rate fluctuations. Any overpayment of premium will be credited to the premium deposit account.
